Basic Information
Inspect metadata, hashes, permissions, and tags without leaving the capture list.
Select a capture and open Details to see a full summary:
- Original name, owner, size, packet count, timestamps, and capture duration.
- Histograms and match counts for any active search filter.
- Tags, comments, and visibility settings such as shared roles or public/private state when supported by the deployment.
- Hashes (SHA1, SHA256) for easy verification or deduplication.
- Capture format hints such as packet slicing length and packet comments.
.pcapng files often contain richer metadata (interface names, comments, TLS keys) than .pcap. All fields can be copied and most link back into the library search for quick pivoting.
Credits, license, and source URL
Editors can add or update credits, licensing, and a source link at any time, either from the detail panel or via mass edit. Only upload or share PCAPs you are permitted to distribute.

Click values to filter by them, download the capture, or jump to the analyzer. If packet slicing was applied, see packet slicing for trade-offs.
