DNS View
Explore DNS activity for a capture without building filters by hand.
The DNS dashboard lists queries, responses, and resolved IPs alongside hit counts. Use it to see which domains were contacted and pivot directly into the packet view.
- DNS ↔ IP mapping. Table columns show queries, answers, and counts with quick filters.
- Aggregation. Group by name or address to collapse noisy lookups.
- Interactive filters. Click a domain or IP to apply a display filter; TLS SNI values are considered when available.
Limitations
- LLMNR and NetBIOS are not included in this view.
- IPv6 support is improving; use the packet list if you need full control over AAAA responses.
