Registration and Access
This page replaces older instructions that implied hosted SaaS could always create accounts through a direct in-app registration flow.
SaaS / cloud-hosted PacketSafari
In the hosted PacketSafari service, anonymous access and paid access are different:
- Anonymous visitors can explore the public/shared experience and use the small free capture workflow.
- Free SaaS usage is intended for shared or public analysis, not a private named workspace.
- Private uploads, larger PCAP limits, Copilot, and Agent access require a paid plan.
If you want a named SaaS account, start from Pricing, choose the plan you need, and complete checkout. After that, sign in and use the private workspace features included with your subscription.
Direct SaaS registration is disabled server-side in the current app. If you encounter an older registration entry point, the supported hosted flow is still pricing plus checkout.
If you only want to try PacketSafari without buying a plan first, use the public/shared analyzer flow instead of looking for a separate registration page.
Note about older screenshots
If you see screenshots or older text that mention a top-right Sign up button for SaaS, treat them as outdated guidance. The current hosted flow creates accounts through the pricing and subscription path.
